JHK Special Garden celebrates mediamorocco's third web 2.0 combination

With the launch of JHK Special Garden's new web site, blog and flickr album there is a real feeling that we are getting somewhere with this mash up. The User Generated Content engine (UGC) which is working successfully on Riad Ouzoud and La Tangerina as an online guestbook has been retained, but morphed into Ask JHK a gardening question.

We have incorporated Google maps into this site and it is a fantastic application, I think this will become a central feature to our template much like the flickr widgets.

Flickr really does deserve its ranking as the 35th most popular site in the World (according to Alexa last week) the social side is excellent too, but for our Template, up till now its been the HTML widgets fed from flickr folders or photostream that have impressed. Until now, I was trawling the flickr API directory when I discovered a neat little application that will run a flash or java based slideshow and create HTML code for copy and pasting. I gave it a spin on our next clients new blog CLICK to have a look. I could see this little program being used in place of the Java program we are currently using, for example of what Im talking about check the product page on JHK web site.
